This is a quick post on the state of selling through Ebay, Etsy and Folksy, from a UK perspective.

Relative Advantages and Disadvantges.

EBAY-FEES
40p for 28 days + 10% of final selling price.
Ebay - Advantages
Widely Known, easy the sell to anywhere.
Ebay - Disadvantages
The most expensive fees

ETSY-FEES
16p for 4 months + 3.5% of final selling price.
Etsy - Advantages
Easy the sell to anywhere, Lowest fees.
Etsy - Disadvantages
Not widely known in the UK, Prices all US Dollars based.

FOLKSY-FEES
20p for 6 months + 5% of final selling price.
Folksy - Advantages
UK Based, GBP used on the site, Low fees though not as cheap as Etsy.
Folksy - Disadvantages
Not as yet widely known
